Poster 01

This poster is a representation of using typography as a tool to replace a visual image, using a drawing of birds as my reference here to then add the text to follow the curves of the birds and the color of it.

Newspaper posters

The concept of these two posters is to showcase the story of the typeface used in them (Walbaum typeface) in a newspaper template.

Poster 02

the walbaum typeface was a serif vintage typeface designed in Germany in the early 1800s by Justus Erich Walbaum, and then renewed by three type designers. The old typeface was used to write the newspaper on brown vintage paper, and there were three scratches articulating the three designers that reveal the modern new fonts of this typeface in the form of the modern newspaper.

Poster 03

This poster tells the same story in a different application, the hands represent the three designers who designed the typeface holding the letters from falling and giving them new future.
